Debate 3 Questions


In favor of emancipation:  If the Jews have never caused any problems while living freely in the past, and a lot of Jews are refusing citizenship, why would France not just leave the Jews to have their own community? No sense in emancipating people who aren’t fully committed to gaining French citizenship.


Against Emancipation: The jews are notorious for being hard workers, and in the past have proven to be successful in helping the economy where they are living. It doesn’t make sense to not give them equal rights to jobs in the French nation. Why not grant them citizenship?
