A: On November 9-10, 7,500 Jewish-owned businesses and ships, the ransacking and looting of 1,000 synagogues (300 of them engulfed by flames), and the murder of 91 Jews occurred. In addition to this, 26,000 Jews were forced into concentration camps. Kristallnacht, also known as the Nigh of Broken Glass, was the non-Jewish Germans retaliating due to the murder of Ernst vom Rath. This was then put into motion due to Hitler authorizing Goebbles' plan for "spontaneous" demonstrations. These demonstrations were multiple pogroms throughout the Reich.

- Q: What does Hitler mean by the distinction between "emotional antisemitism" and "racial antisemitism"?
A: Emotional Antisemitism are pogroms which were deemed not to be the most effective. Racial antisemitism is seeing the Jews as a means to an end, in particular, the Jew' apparent lust for money and power.
